# Business Operations Specialist – Cloud

## About the Role

As part of the Global Operations Centre, this role supports cloud financial management, cost analysis, and optimization across the Media cluster. You will work with Finance, Technology, FinOps, Tech Operations, and Global Product teams to improve cloud spend visibility and financial planning.

The position collaborates with stakeholders across the United States, Europe, and Asia. Key objectives include strengthening cost attribution, supporting optimization initiatives, improving forecasting and variance analysis, and delivering reliable reporting for Media stakeholders.

For Colombia, the role may be remote or hybrid and requires alignment with the EST time zone. The organization’s broader hybrid model generally involves approximately four days per week in the office, depending on location.

## Key Responsibilities

– Partner with the central FinOps team on activities supporting the Media cluster.
– Act as a Finance point of contact for Media cloud cost matters.
– Analyze cloud spend, cost drivers, trends, and variances.
– Improve cost attribution through allocation, tagging quality, and cost-center alignment.
– Translate cloud cost data into actionable insights for Finance and Technology stakeholders.
– Identify and validate cost optimization opportunities with FinOps, Tech Operations, and Global Product teams.
– Establish optimization baselines, estimate savings, track delivery, and monitor realized benefits.
– Support cloud budgeting, forecasting, actuals reporting, and variance analysis.
– Produce consistent financial reporting and showback information.
– Maintain documentation and audit trails in accordance with Finance policies.
– Improve FinOps trackers, templates, and collaboration processes across Finance, FinOps, and Technology.

## Required Skills

– At least three years of experience in IT Finance or Technology Finance as a Financial Analyst.
– Strong capabilities in cost analysis, financial modeling, variance explanation, and IT budgeting.
– Bachelor’s degree.
– Advanced written and spoken English; proficiency will be assessed during interviews.
– Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and complex data analysis.
– Experience with ERP and CRM systems.
– Understanding of cloud costs and FinOps concepts, or a strong ability and willingness to learn.
– Experience working in large, complex matrix organizations or global technology or services companies.
– Ability to collaborate across international regions.
– Self-directed and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently, engage stakeholders, and structure financial data.

– Support rightsizing and other optimization initiatives by defining baselines, estimating savings, and tracking outcomes.
– Contribute to cloud budgets, forecasts, actuals, and variance reporting.
– Provide showback reporting, governance documentation, and audit trails.
– Maintain visibility of optimization activities, risks, and realized benefits.
