# IT Finance / TBM / FinOps Consultant

## About the Role

Join the Technology Strategy and Advisory team within Accenture’s Europe Strategy & Consulting practice. The role supports organizations in understanding, managing, and optimizing the value of their technology investments.

You will work at the intersection of IT, Finance, and Strategy, helping clients improve cost transparency, strengthen decision-making, and deliver measurable business outcomes from technology spend.

The position involves client-facing consulting assignments across industries and geographies, collaborating with IT and Finance stakeholders on transformation initiatives, governance, operating models, and technology cost management.

## Key Responsibilities

– Support IT Finance, Technology Business Management (TBM), and FinOps transformation programs.
– Assess IT cost transparency and IT financial management maturity.
– Define practical improvement roadmaps for clients.
– Design and improve IT cost models, service costing, and allocation mechanisms, including showback and chargeback.
– Implement or optimize tools such as Apptio to improve cost visibility and governance.
– Facilitate workshops with IT and Finance stakeholders.
– Translate complex financial and technology data into clear insights and recommendations.
– Support the development of governance, processes, and operating practices for IT Finance and FinOps.

## Required Skills

– 2–5 years of experience in IT Finance, TBM, FinOps, or a related area.
– Understanding of IT cost structures, budgeting, forecasting, and IT finance processes.
– Experience in consulting, transformation projects, or cross-functional environments.
– Ability to connect business, finance, and technology perspectives.
– Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
– Analytical thinking and the ability to structure complex problems.
– Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel for storytelling and structured analysis.

## Preferred Skills

– Experience with TBM or FinOps frameworks.
– Exposure to Apptio or other IT cost management solutions.
– Experience designing cost allocation models.
– Familiarity with cloud cost management concepts.
– Relevant FinOps or TBM certifications.

## Working Model and Location

– Primary location: Warsaw, with offices also in Kraków, Wrocław, Łódź, and Gdańsk.
– Hybrid work combining remote work, Accenture offices, and client locations.

– Willingness and ability to travel to client locations, primarily across Europe and potentially beyond, for short- or long-term assignments.
