# Manager/Senior Manager, Enterprise Strategy and Technology Planning

## About the Role

HUB International is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager to lead its Apptio Technology Business Management (TBM) platform and Cloud Financial Operations (FinOps) functions. Reporting to the Director of Technology Business Management, this role will direct the Apptio platform team and internal Cloud FinOps Lead.

The position is responsible for translating TBM strategy into execution, ensuring delivery quality, and aligning technology, finance, infrastructure, and product stakeholders. It focuses on strategic direction, governance, stakeholder management, and team leadership rather than day-to-day system configuration.

## Key Responsibilities

– Lead the Apptio platform team and Cloud FinOps Lead, setting priorities and managing roadmap commitments.
– Convert enterprise TBM strategy into executable roadmaps for Apptio and Cloud FinOps.
– Direct Apptio module development across Planning, TCO, Cost Allocation, and Vendor Management.
– Ensure Apptio data quality, system integrity, and alignment with TBM practices.
– Oversee executive financial reporting and dashboards covering technology spend, trends, and KPIs.
– Guide the maturity of cloud cost allocation, optimization, transparency, and FinOps adoption through Cloudability.
– Serve as the senior contact for Technology and Finance stakeholders on Apptio and Cloud FinOps matters.
– Partner with Corporate Finance to incorporate Apptio outputs into financial planning and reporting cycles.
– Present strategy, delivery progress, and insights to the Director and senior leadership.
– Establish governance frameworks, standard operating procedures, and continuous-improvement practices.
– Drive automation, data integration enhancements, training, and organizational adoption.
– Manage third-party and managed-service delivery partners.

## Required Skills

– 7+ years of experience in IT Finance, Technology Business Management, FP&A, or a related field.
– Experience leading teams and/or managing external delivery partners.
– Experience directing or partnering on an Apptio or similar TBM platform implementation.
– Experience with Cloud FinOps practices and tools such as Cloudability.
– Strong understanding of TBM frameworks and Apptio capabilities.
– Knowledge of cloud pricing models, optimization techniques, and FinOps principles.
– Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning.
– Ability to translate technology costs into clear financial narratives.
– Strong financial acumen and familiarity with financial systems such as Oracle, Workday, or SAP.
– Excellent stakeholder-management and executive-communication skills.
– Experience driving organizational adoption of new tools and operating practices.
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.

## Preferred Skills

– Hands-on Apptio configuration experience.
– MBA, CPA, or TBM Certified Professional credential.

## Compensation and Benefits

– Expected salary range: $135,000–$165,000, depending on skills, experience, work location, business line, scope, and level.
