# Semi-Senior FinOps Engineer

## About the Role

ACL Tecnología is seeking a Semi-Senior FinOps Engineer to support financial governance and cost management across multicloud environments. The role will help improve cloud cost transparency, predictability, and operational efficiency.

You will work with stakeholders on cloud budgets, consumption management, optimization initiatives, and executive governance reporting. The position also contributes to sustainable migration planning, FinOps process automation, and data-driven decision-making.

## Key Responsibilities

– Support cloud cost governance across multicloud environments.
– Prepare and monitor cloud service budgets with relevant stakeholders.
– Manage resource consumption reporting and present monthly Showback/Chargeback views.
– Contribute to executive cloud governance reports.
– Develop and analyze Cloud Financial Management dashboards.
– Identify unused and underutilized resources and recommend corrective actions.
– Analyze cost anomalies and discrepancies.
– Generate proactive alerts for budget overruns and unusual spending.
– Track the implementation of recommended optimization initiatives.
– Support the automation of FinOps processes and routines.
– Contribute to sustainable migration planning using FinOps best practices.

## Required Skills

– Experience in FinOps, cloud service financial management, Cloud Management, or a related field.
– Experience or knowledge in cloud cost management and optimization within multicloud environments.
– Knowledge of FinOps practices, including:
– Rightsizing
– Reserved Instances
– Savings Plans
– Spot Instances
– Start & Stop strategies
– Showback and Chargeback
– Experience analyzing costs, preparing budgets, dashboards, and management reports.
– Knowledge of Cloud Financial Management tools and/or cloud platforms.
– Analytical ability to identify optimization opportunities and monitor corrective actions.
– Experience or interest in FinOps process automation and data analysis.
