# CEE Technology Cost Controller

## About the Role
This manager-level role is responsible for overseeing technology-related financial processes across the CEE region. The position exists to ensure that technology spend is planned, allocated, billed and reported accurately, with clear visibility for regional decision-making.
You will work closely with Finance, Technology, Procurement and business stakeholders across multiple CEE member firms. The role supports financial governance, planning and reporting for shared technology services, while also helping to improve cost efficiency, standardization and procurement synergies.
A further part of the role is to strengthen reporting quality and process effectiveness through data analytics, automation and structured financial controls. The position also supports regional technology procurement and vendor management activities.
## Key Responsibilities
– Manage intercompany technology cost allocations, service charges and recharge calculations across CEE member firms.
– Develop and maintain allocation methodologies and charging models for shared and centralized technology services.
– Calculate annual true-up and true-down settlements for regional technology services and initiatives.
– Coordinate annual budgeting and periodic forecasting for technology costs at regional level.
– Consolidate CEE technology budgets, maintain planning assumptions, drivers and allocation keys, and track performance against plan.
– Prepare variance analyses, management reports and dashboards for regional leadership.
– Build financial models and business cases for technology investments, operating model changes and regional optimization initiatives.
– Prepare accruals for technology costs, service charges and related financial adjustments.
– Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities with local Finance teams.
– Prepare billing requests, invoicing instructions and supporting documentation for intercompany technology charges.
– Validate charges before invoicing and resolve billing and settlement queries from stakeholders.
– Consolidate technology cost data, manage exceptions and support reporting standardization and automation.
– Define KPI frameworks and scenario models for technology cost governance and regional synergy analysis.
– Support centralized technology procurement by analysing spend, collecting requirements and tracking savings and performance.
– Coordinate vendor management for strategic technology suppliers, including contract renewals, negotiations and RFPs.
## Required Skills
– Finance background in Audit, Advisory, Controlling, FP&A or a similar professional services or corporate environment.
– Experience in cost controlling, budgeting and forecasting for technology or shared services.
– Experience with intercompany charging, allocations or transfer pricing in a multi-entity, multi-country context.
– Experience preparing variance analyses, management reports and business cases.
– Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for modelling, allocations, scenario analysis and reconciliations.
– Experience with ERP and finance systems such as SAP, Oracle or MS Dynamics, including intercompany processes.
– Working knowledge of basic accounting principles relevant to technology costs, accruals and intercompany charges, including IFRS or local GAAP.
– Excellent written and spoken English.
– Ability to explain complex cost allocation and charging concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
– Confidence preparing and presenting reports and recommendations to regional leadership.
– Analytical, structured, proactive and collaborative working style.
## Preferred Skills
– Exposure to cross-border or regional structures, such as CEE or similar.
– Experience working closely with Technology/IT and Procurement teams.
– Familiarity with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
– ACCA qualification, completed or in progress.
– Experience with regional or global technology procurement initiatives.
– Background in AI, digital transformation or emerging technology projects from a finance or operations perspective.
– Prior experience in a Big Four or similar professional services environment.

– Coordinate intercompany technology cost allocation, charging and recharge processes.
