## About the Role

This position focuses on helping agile teams design and operate cloud environments with cost efficiency in mind. The role supports decisions around architecture, scaling, and usage models, with a particular emphasis on AWS.

You will also help embed FinOps practices into delivery and operations processes. In addition, you will prepare cost forecasts, analyse plan-versus-actual variances, and create cost and KPI reports for management and other stakeholders. The role works in a SAFe context and combines technical collaboration with financial analysis.

## Key Responsibilities

– Advise on resource-efficient cloud architecture, scaling, and usage models, including rightsizing, reservation models, storage optimization, network architecture, and misconfiguration remediation.
– Work closely with agile teams to assess the cost impact of technical decisions.
– Enable teams to design with cost awareness.
– Support the integration of FinOps principles into delivery and operational processes.
– Prepare cost forecasts and plan-vs-actual variance analyses.
– Produce cost and KPI reports for management and stakeholders.

## Required Skills

– Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or equivalent training and professional experience.
– Strong experience in cloud cost management.
– Very good knowledge of AWS architecture and cloud services.
– Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code approaches, such as CDK.
– Scripting skills in Python or TypeScript.
– Strong analytical and structured working style.
– Ability to present technical and financial results clearly for the intended audience.
– Team-oriented working style in a SAFe environment, combined with personal accountability and reliability.
– Fluent German and good English skills.
