We’re looking for an experienced
Business Development Representative
to accelerate revenue growth for our cloud cost management platform. This role is ideal for someone with a background in cloud or software sales who enjoys uncovering customer needs, tailoring solutions and building long‑term client relationships. You will manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—while collaborating closely with technical and marketing teams.
What You’ll Do
Own outbound prospecting.
Generate new business pipeline across mid‑market and selected enterprise accounts using targeted calls, emails and social‑selling techniques.
Identify and engage decision‑makers.
Research target accounts, map C‑suite and technology leaders and build relationships through tailored outreach.
Lead end‑to‑end sales cycles.
Manage everything from initial contact and qualification to solution development, proposals and closing. Use frameworks like BANT to align solutions with customer needs.
Collaborate cross‑functionally.
Partner with marketing and go‑to‑market teams on account‑based campaigns, events and A/B‑tested messaging.
Track performance metrics.
Monitor KPIs such as qualified leads, conversion rates, appointments and pipeline contribution to refine your strategy.
Manage pipeline and forecasting.
Maintain accurate CRM data, ensure pipeline hygiene and provide clear forecasting visibility.
What We’re Looking For
Experience.
4–7 years in business development, consultative sales or client partnerships within IT services or software engineering. Proven ability to run outbound sales motions and achieve quotas.
Track record.
Demonstrated success independently sourcing and developing opportunities in complex markets (US, Europe or MENA) and closing enterprise deals.
Technical knowledge.
Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and AI services; ability to articulate how CloudKompas solves cost‑management challenges.
Sales skills.
Proficiency in prospect research, cold calling, email outreach and social selling; skilled at qualifying leads and conducting discovery conversations.
Collaboration.
Strong communication, storytelling and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to align messaging across marketing, sales and product teams.
Language ability.
Excellent English (C1+); additional European languages are a plus.
Nice to have.
Understanding of FinOps, DevOps or cloud cost management practices.
