Cloud Managed Services (CMS) is a strategic growth pillar within the organisation, and this role will play a key part in scaling this offering in the Dutch market.
The Opportunity
This is a high-impact, commercially strategic role focused on building and scaling a Cloud Managed Services proposition.
You will act as a market maker — generating demand, shaping opportunities, and closing complex cloud managed services deals across both existing customers and new logos.
You will work closely with cloud architects, delivery teams, alliances, marketing, and account management to position the organisation as a leading cloud managed services partner in the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Growth
Drive new business generation for Cloud Managed Services.
Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, value positioning, pricing, negotiation, and contract closure.
Engage with C-level executives, IT leadership, architects, and procurement stakeholders.
Apply consultative and value-based selling methodologies.
Build and maintain a predictable, scalable CMS sales funnel.
Sales Strategy & Offering Development
Develop and refine the go-to-market strategy for Cloud Managed Services.
Build repeatable sales playbooks, pitch frameworks, and discovery methodologies.
Collaborate with solution architects to translate customer challenges into compelling service propositions.
Contribute to commercial packaging, SLA frameworks, onboarding models, and pricing strategies.
Market Development & Positioning
Represent the organisation at events, webinars, and partner initiatives.
Collaborate with marketing and cloud alliance partners (e.g., hyperscalers).
Enable account teams to identify and co-sell managed services opportunities.
Champion an entrepreneurial and growth-focused sales culture.
Your Profile
8+ years of experience in IT services or technology sales.
Minimum 3 years selling cloud-related services (Cloud Infrastructure, MSP, DevOps, FinOps, Managed Services).
Proven hunter mentality with a strong new business track record.
Experience closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.
Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud operations models.
Ability to position managed services around risk mitigation, cost optimisation, governance, and operational excellence.
Experience with consultative and value-based selling approaches.
Entrepreneurial mindset and experience building or scaling new commercial offerings.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
