## About the Role
RadNet is seeking a Senior IT Financial Analyst – Cloud to connect cloud and technology costs with operational demand, business performance, and investment decisions. The role supports financial analysis across infrastructure, cloud platforms, data platforms, and technology-enabled healthcare products and services.
Working across Finance, Cloud Operations, Platform Engineering, infrastructure, data, product, procurement, and DeepHealth teams, you will develop forecasts, total cost of ownership models, unit economics, reporting, and optimization analyses. You will also help mature RadNet’s shared FinOps operating model and translate technical architecture and consumption data into clear financial recommendations.
The position supports planning for cloud consumption, infrastructure placement, modernization, acquisitions, site expansion, product growth, data retention, and other technology investments in a regulated healthcare environment.
## Key Responsibilities
– Build financial models connecting technology costs with operational metrics such as imaging volume, modality mix, site count, customer count, product usage, transactions, storage growth, compute consumption, and data retention.
– Develop unit economics including cost per imaging study, site, customer, transaction, terabyte, and other workload-specific measures.
– Analyze cost efficiency, operating leverage, gross margin, cost to serve, and the relationship between technology spending and business growth.
– Create three- to five-year total cost of ownership and scenario models for on-premises, colocation, hosted infrastructure, public cloud, SaaS, and hybrid deployments.
– Evaluate hardware refreshes, maintenance, licensing, datacenter and networking costs, cloud consumption, storage growth, contractual commitments, migration costs, and operational support.
– Support workload-placement, modernization, migration, consolidation, platform replacement, infrastructure refresh, and SaaS decisions.
– Separate one-time transition and migration costs from ongoing run-rate costs and validate actual outcomes against approved business cases.
– Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual driver-based forecasts tied to imaging volume, customer and product growth, site onboarding, storage and data growth, utilization, and architecture changes.
– Prepare budget-to-actual and forecast variance analysis, explain material business and technical changes, and recommend follow-up actions.
– Support operating and capital budgets, multiyear infrastructure planning, accruals, cloud invoice reconciliation, committed-spend tracking, and financial reporting.
– Produce leadership reporting on run rate, forecasts, variances, unit economics, cost drivers, savings opportunities, savings realization, risks, and decisions required.
– Build scenarios for acquisitions, new markets, site expansion, imaging volume growth, customer adoption, product scaling, resiliency improvements, retention changes, and modernization.
– Support cost and capacity modeling for BigQuery, data pipelines, analytics platforms, and customer-facing healthcare technology products.
– Develop cost-to-serve, fixed-cost, variable-cost, product, pricing, investment, and margin analyses.
– Analyze Google Cloud agreements, committed-spend structures, discounts, consumption risk, and financial performance; support renewals and negotiations.
– Support due diligence and business cases for acquisitions, market expansion, site expansion, migrations, infrastructure refreshes, SaaS adoption, and other technology investments.
– Reconcile vendor, billing, and technical-consumption data and establish consistent definitions for cloud spend, infrastructure run rate, committed spend, forecast variance, and savings realization.
– Support audit and compliance requirements related to technology spend, data retention, allocation, and financial controls.
– Partner with technical and financial stakeholders to communicate assumptions, options, tradeoffs, and recommendations to leadership.
## Required Skills
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
– Four to seven years of experience in IT financial analysis, FinOps, technology business management, cloud cost management, or a closely related discipline.
– Experience developing financial models, total cost of ownership comparisons, driver-based forecasts, unit economics, and budget variance analyses.
– Hands-on experience analyzing cloud billing and consumption data, preferably in Google Cloud, including billing exports, pricing, discounts, and committed-spend concepts.
– Advanced Excel or equivalent financial-modeling skills and SQL proficiency.
– Experience combining technology cost data with business or operational metrics for planning and investment decisions.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical usage and architecture through clear financial narratives.
– Ability to work across technical, financial, product, and operational teams in a shared-accountability environment.
– Experience in healthcare IT, medical imaging, or health technology SaaS.
– Familiarity with RIS/PACS, DICOM workflows, imaging study volumes, or medical imaging storage and retention requirements.
– Experience comparing on-premises and cloud infrastructure economics or supporting migration and workload-placement decisions.
– Experience with SaaS or multi-tenant product cost modeling, cost to serve, gross-margin analysis, or customer and product unit economics.
– Experience with CloudZero, Google Cloud Billing, BigQuery, Looker, Looker Studio, Google Cloud Recommender, Active Assist, or comparable FinOps and analytics platforms.
– FinOps Certified Practitioner or comparable FinOps Foundation certification.
– Familiarity with healthcare security, privacy, audit, or data-retention considerations.
– Strong analytical discipline, including careful management of assumptions, baselines, and data quality.
– Ability to connect technology consumption and cost with measurable business outcomes and operational demand.
– Ability to make complex technical economics understandable and actionable.
– Strong collaboration across Finance, cloud, platform, infrastructure, data, engineering, product, and leadership teams.
– Judgment that balances cost with performance, resiliency, security, compliance, clinical availability, and business growth.
– Comfort working across RadNet and DeepHealth with multiple stakeholders and shared accountability.
– Professional communication, sound judgment, respect for patients, guests, and colleagues, and the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
