# Job Description: Senior Analyst, Renewals Strategy & Operations

## About the Role
As a Senior Analyst in Renewals Strategy & Operations, you will play a vital role in supporting Okta’s global Renewals organization. Your main focus will be on driving analytics that enhance forecasting, planning, and systems aimed at protecting and growing the company’s retained revenue. You will be the analytical backbone for daily business operations, ensuring that the organization has the tools and metrics necessary to perform effectively. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the organization’s goals while fostering accountability and measurement practices that are crucial for success.

## Key Responsibilities
– **Forecasting**
– Manage the weekly and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timely adjustments to models as needed.

– **Capacity & Retention Planning**
– Set targets and model capacity, providing insights into territory and account health for effective renewal management.

– **Accountability & Measurement**
– Collaborate with leadership on incentive design and performance measurement, delivering regular reporting on key metrics.

– **Analysis & Automation**
– Utilize your knowledge of data and AI tools to produce comprehensive analysis and improve the team’s reporting systems for increased efficiency.

## Required Skills
– 3 to 5+ years of experience in operational analytics, FP&A, or revenue operations, particularly within go-to-market, sales, customer success, or post-sales functions.
– Proficient in Salesforce and Tableau; familiarity with Claude Code, Clari, Gainsight, or Jira is advantageous.
– Working knowledge of AI/ML tools and data pipelines for effective analysis.
– Strong understanding of SaaS financial and business metrics.
– Proven ability to gather, assess, and present data clearly to various stakeholders.
– Experience managing a recurring process end-to-end, with excellent organizational skills to juggle multiple priorities.
– Demonstrated structured and logical thinking to solve problems iteratively.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially with senior stakeholders.

## Preferred Skills
– Experience with data analysis and automation tools.
– Familiarity with business intelligence platforms beyond those mentioned.
