– Identify and quantify cost optimization opportunities across cloud vendors using cloud-native tools and Adaptive 6.
– Manage Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and committed use discounts, including utilization tracking and purchase recommendations.
– Track SaaS contract utilization against commitments.
– Define spend alarms based on budgets and forecasts and lead anomaly investigations from detection through root cause and resolution.
– Build cloud and SaaS spend forecasts using sales forecasts, product roadmap plans, and migration or modernization waves.
– Support chargeback and showback with accurate, well-tagged cost data.
– Own the cloud tagging taxonomy and compliance program, including monitoring, enforcement, and remediation.
– Partner with Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Vendor Management on financial controls and audit support.
– Administer and improve the FinOps tooling stack.
– Use AI tools to automate reporting, anomaly triage, and optimization analysis.
