# Business Operations Specialist – Cloud
## About the Role
The Business Operations Specialist – Cloud will support cloud financial management, cost analysis, and optimization across the Media cluster. Working within the Global Operations Centre, the role partners with Finance, FinOps, Technology, Tech Operations, and Product teams.
The position will improve visibility into cloud expenditure, support budgeting and forecasting, identify optimization opportunities, and turn consumption data into actionable financial insight. The role collaborates with teams across the United States, Europe, and Asia in a global, multicultural environment.

**Work arrangement:** Remote or hybrid, with EST timezone alignment
## Key Responsibilities
– Support FinOps activities for the Media cluster in partnership with the central FinOps team.
– Act as a Finance point of contact for Media-related cloud cost matters.
– Analyze cloud spending, cost drivers, trends, and variances.
– Improve cost attribution through allocation, tagging quality, and cost-center alignment.
– Translate cloud cost data into clear insights for Finance and Technology stakeholders.
– Identify and validate cloud cost optimization opportunities with FinOps, Tech Operations, and Global Product teams.
– Establish optimization baselines, estimate savings, track delivery, and report realized benefits.
– Support cloud budgeting, forecasting, and actuals variance analysis.
– Produce Finance-quality reporting and showback information.
– Maintain documentation and audit trails aligned with Finance policies.
– Improve FinOps trackers, templates, and collaboration processes across Finance, FinOps, and Technology.
## Required Skills
– At least three years of experience in IT Finance or Tech Finance, preferably as a Financial Analyst.
– Strong experience in cost analysis, financial modeling, variance explanation, and IT budgeting.
– Bachelor’s degree.
– Advanced written and spoken English.
– Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and complex data analysis.
– Experience with ERP and CRM systems.
– Understanding of cloud costs and FinOps concepts, or a demonstrated ability and willingness to learn them.
– Experience working in large, complex matrix organizations or global technology or services companies.
– Ability to collaborate across international regions.
– Proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to work independently, engage stakeholders, and organize financial data.
## Preferred Skills
– Exposure to Microsoft Copilot or other AI tools.

– Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and actuals variance analysis.
– Produce showback and financial reporting for Media stakeholders.
– Maintain FinOps documentation, trackers, templates, and audit trails.
