Marketing Finance Operations Lead
to our dynamic North America Service Business team (NASB) at Samsung Electronics America. This position will support both our consumer business focused on our software and services that keep consumers engaged daily. Products like Samsung TV Plus, Samsung Gaming Hub, Art Store, Samsung News and Galaxy Store are bringing ‘everyday extraordinary’ to millions of consumers across the globe. This role will elevate the awareness of Samsung’s portfolio of services and shape how media, consumers, advertisers and partners perceive them.
Additionally, this Ops role will support Marketing and partners across our Ads business. Samsung Ads is an advanced advertising platform where advertisers find and connect with audiences across over 100M Samsung Households around the world. Samsung Ads delivers high-quality audience targeting powered by three key components: first-party audience data at scale, world-class data science, and brand-safe cross-device ad inventory. The Opportunity
We’re looking for a confident individual with strong Organizational Operations, Finance and Project Management skills who understands the importance of delivering impactful results. This person will serve as the bridge between marketing, finance, and operations – ensuring that marketing investments are strategically allocated, efficiently managed, and clearly measured. You will oversee processes for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and spend optimization within our O&O platforms.
Responsibilities include:
Lead FinOps overall process and Marketing budget spend – developing improvements and strategies for effective spend
Partner with finance and business leads to align spend to business objectives, ensuring accuracy in reporting
Submit and track Vendor Onboarding, Finance approvals, Purchase Orders, Vendor Invoices and Contracts allocations for all Marketing Initiatives.
Develop and manage scalable budget management frameworks and reporting dashboards to improve visibility and control using tools like Airtable, etc.
Streamline budget workflows between marketing, procurement, and finance to improve efficiency
Establish and maintain SOP’s with stakeholders for campaign spend requests, approvals, and tracking
Lead quarterly reviews with leadership reporting on ROI to identify wins and where we can find efficiencies
Build reporting frameworks to track spend efficiency
Qualifications
6+ years of experience in marketing finance, business operations, FP&A, or marketing operations.
Strong understanding of marketing channels, campaign measurement, and budget management.
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills; experience with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Workday, Airtable) and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
Strong understanding of the CTV and OTT landscape inclusive of vendors and players.
Proven ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
Flexible and open working style, with an ability to quickly establish trust and credibility
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable interfacing with senior leadership.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or related field
Salary Range Pay Transparency: Compensation for this role, for candidates based in New York, NY is expected to be between Base range: $130,000 ~ $155,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
