# Job Title: Director, FP&A – IT Portfolio Investments
## About the Role
The Director of FP&A for IT Portfolio Investments plays a crucial role in delivering financial leadership and strategic insight within the technology investment portfolio at DTCC. This position directly collaborates with IT, product, and enterprise finance leaders to optimize capital allocation and manage operational expenses. The Director is tasked with ensuring disciplined investment decisions that align with the company’s long-term technology strategy, through comprehensive financial analysis, planning, and performance management.
In this capacity, you will oversee technology investment planning and prioritization, aiming to empower data-driven decision-making throughout various business and functional stakeholders. Your work will significantly impact the financial governance and performance management associated with IT investments, helping to steer the company’s technological advancements.
## Key Responsibilities
– Act as the primary finance partner for IT leadership concerning technology investment strategy and funding decisions.
– Provide financial insights to support enterprise technology roadmaps and innovation priorities.
– Translate technology strategies into multi-year financial plans that are aligned with corporate objectives.
– Lead financial oversight of the IT investment portfolio, ensuring sound demand planning and evaluation of business cases.
– Establish and uphold a financial governance framework for project and application portfolios.
– Collaborate with IT leadership to assess business cases, ROI, and the total cost of ownership for both capital and operating expenses.
– Track portfolio performance against milestones and funding approvals, focusing on value realization.
– Ensure consistent planning, forecasting, and reporting standards to drive cost transparency across the IT portfolio.
– Develop executive-level financial reporting on IT portfolio investments and productivity outcomes.
## Required Skills
– At least 10 years of relevant experience in finance or a related field.
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; Master’s degree is preferred.
– Strong understanding of financial principles, reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
– Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
– Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
– Experience with ERP systems and financial analysis reporting; familiarity with Oracle platform is a plus.
– Strong data visualization and presentation skills.
