## About the Role
The Finance Partner for the Global Operations team at SoFi plays a crucial role in facilitating financial visibility and accountability to support the organization’s growth strategy. ## Key Responsibilities
– Lead annual, quarterly, and intra-quarter financial forecasting for the Global Operations function.
– Collaborate with accounting and strategic finance teams during the monthly close process and analyze budget versus actuals to provide clarity on expense trends.
– Assess whether deviations from the forecasted quarterly plan are warranted based on financial and strategic analysis.
– Partner with stakeholders to deliver guidance on financial performance, enabling real-time decision-making within Operations teams.
– Monitor key performance metrics in collaboration with the Data team and develop actionable insights.
– Prepare materials for management discussions on financial and business performance indicators, such as demand planning and operational-specific KPIs.
## Required Skills
– 6+ years of experience in financial services, operations, private equity, FP&A, consulting, or corporate finance.
– Proficiency in preparing and presenting information to key decision-makers.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills.
– Advanced technical skills with tools such as Excel, Workday, Google Suite, and SQL.
– Ability to build effective cross-functional relationships.
– Inquisitive with a keen attention to detail and a flexible approach to problem-solving.
– Strong time management and project management skills.
– Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
