# Job Description: Responsable Contrôle de Gestion (F/H)

## About the Role
As a key member of the Finance Department and reporting directly to the Financial Director, the Responsible Financial Controller will take charge of the management control function. The primary purpose of this role is to structure the management control team, enhance its capabilities, and position it as a valuable partner for operational departments. This role is crucial during a phase of transformation, directly impacting the organization’s management processes and focusing on the strategic goal of optimizing the Supply Chain.

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing a governance framework, redefining budgeting processes, and automating performance dashboards across departments. Collaboration with various operational units is essential to ensure an effective decision-making process and to support their understanding of financial management challenges.

## Key Responsibilities
– **Team Leadership and Structure**:
– Manage and develop the management control team while enhancing organizational competencies.
– Clarify roles and responsibilities among Accounting, Treasury, Internal Control, and Management Control.
– **Performance Management**:
– Design and implement decision-making governance.
– Redefine budgeting processes and support the closing operations.
– Oversee the analysis of costs related to the logistics chain (purchases, inventory, distribution) and provide recommendations for improvement.
– **Collaboration and Tools Development**:
– Engage with operational teams to gather requirements and develop useful decision-support tools.
– Facilitate and encourage the understanding of performance management within operational departments.

## Required Skills
– Master’s degree in finance, management control, or audit.
– Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in management control, preferably in a supply chain environment.
– Strong understanding of performance management processes and flows.
– Experience in team management and change facilitation.
– Proficient in Excel and familiar with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Jaspersoft).
– Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
– Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset.

## Preferred Skills
– Experience within NGOs or field experience with organizations like MSF would be advantageous.
– Effective interpersonal skills, capable of fostering collaboration among diverse teams.
