## About the Role
We are seeking a Cloud Financial Management | FinOps Specialist to join our team for an international project based in Porto. This role is essential in overseeing cloud and AI service spending, identifying cost optimization opportunities, and providing strategic insights to enhance decision-making processes. The position involves collaboration with various teams, including business, finance, infrastructure, and engineering, to ensure comprehensive financial management of cloud resources.

The FinOps Specialist will play a critical role in monitoring daily cloud costs, preparing reports, and implementing cost optimization initiatives. The aim is to provide transparency and visibility in cloud spending while aligning financial objectives with operational needs. ## Key Responsibilities
– Analyze and monitor spending across cloud and AI services.
– Identify cost optimization opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
– Prepare and present weekly and monthly cost reports.
– Develop and implement cloud cost and resource optimization initiatives.
– Monitor daily cloud costs and spending trends.
– Conduct business analysis to identify cloud cost drivers and trends.
– Collaborate on FinOps and DevFinOps practices across cloud environments.
– Communicate insights and recommendations to various stakeholders.
– Support the integration of financial and technical data flows.

## Required Skills
– Professional experience in Cloud Financial Management, FinOps, or similar roles.
– Strong knowledge of cloud services cost management and optimization.
– Experience with cloud pricing models and cost attribution.
– Ability to develop financial models for cost forecasting.
– Familiarity with rightsizing and cloud resource optimization techniques.
– Proficiency in financial reporting and monitoring.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
