# Technology FinOps Manager

## About the Role
We are looking for a Technology FinOps Manager to join our team in Mexico City. This hybrid role requires working in the office at least three days a week. As the Technology FinOps Manager, you will oversee financial management for cloud and technology expenses across the enterprise. Your focus will be on enhancing cost visibility, driving efficiency, and ensuring sustainable savings while maintaining quality and security. You will collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, finance, procurement, and leadership teams to achieve these objectives.

In this role, you will be instrumental in developing dashboards, reports, and KPIs that provide insights into cloud and technology spending. Your efforts will directly contribute to the adoption of FinOps principles, helping teams understand their cost structures and improve accountability.

## Key Responsibilities
– Support IT teams in managing cloud and technology expenses.
– Build and maintain visibility through dashboards and regular business reviews.
– Identify cost anomalies and optimization opportunities in partnership with engineering and platform teams.
– Provide forecasting and budgeting support in collaboration with finance.
– Ensure cost management controls, including tagging standards and governance.
– Drive the adoption of FinOps practices focused on unit economics.
– Coordinate with Procurement and vendor management for contract optimization.
– Define and track KPIs related to cost efficiency and utilization.
– Communicate financial insights and recommendations to technical and executive audiences.
– Develop playbooks for cost incident response and ongoing optimization processes.

## Required Skills
– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
– Experience in technology operations, IT finance, or related fields.
– Hands-on experience with cloud expense management and cost reporting.
– Practical knowledge of AWS billing and cost management tools.
– Strong analytical skills for trend analysis and variance reporting.
– Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
– Excellent communication skills for translating technical spending into business impact.
– Demonstrated problem-solving ability and ownership mindset.
– Advanced proficiency in English.

## Preferred Skills
– Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure or OCI.
