## About the Role
As the Finance & Ops Lead for Marketplace Experience at Glovo, you will play a critical role in managing the financial landscape of the Customer Refunds & Compensations (R&C) team on a global scale. Your primary mission is to enhance financial performance, minimize compensation-driven losses, and optimize cost efficiency while overseeing a significant budget. You will engage in impactful cost-saving projects, ensuring alignment across various functions to connect operational challenges with financial results.
In this position, you will take ownership of global financial KPIs, tracking performance to identify value loss and its underlying causes. You will drive financial planning efforts, challenge inefficiencies within cross-functional teams, and lead monthly finance reviews to foster accountability and transparency throughout the organization.
## Key Responsibilities
– Own and monitor global R&C financial KPIs to assess cost performance against Business Plans and Best Estimates.
– Lead financial planning, including R&C budget creation, reforecasts, and monthly revisions, emphasizing high ROI interventions.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pinpoint inefficiencies and establish actionable plans that yield measurable outcomes.
– Facilitate the R&C Monthly Finance Review for consistent reporting and performance accountability.
– Spearhead global cost optimization initiatives, such as refining partner chargeback policies, and escalate major issues for long-term solutions.
– Develop user-friendly financial performance tools and dashboards to support decision-making across all markets.
## Required Skills
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
– Over 5 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Controlling, Strategy, or Operations.
– Proven ability to connect operational metrics with financial outcomes.
– Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
– Strong analytical capabilities and structured problem-solving skills.
– Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
– Proficient in G Suite (Sheets, Presentations) or Office Suite (Excel), with experience in building effective dashboards.
