# Job Description: Strategy & FinOps Manager

## About the Role
The Strategy & FinOps Manager is a pivotal role focused on enhancing financial operations, business planning, and strategic initiatives for the SSL LATAM region, which includes Mexico, Colombia, and Costa Rica. This position is essential for establishing robust financial governance and facilitating critical planning processes such as Annual Operating Plans (AOP) and long-range strategic planning.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Finance team to comprehend the business’s Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend actionable insights that aim to boost growth and profitability. By driving cross-functional initiatives with various teams, you will improve operational excellence and contribute significantly to business sustainability and efficiency.

## Key Responsibilities
– Develop and oversee the FinOps agenda across SSL markets, ensuring effective collections, reconciliations, financial controls, and issue resolution.
– Partner with Finance to analyze and understand the P&L, pinpointing operational levers that affect profitability.
– Lead financial and operational planning processes, supporting business reviews, forecasting exercises, and strategic decision-making.
– Design scalable governance frameworks, controls, and reporting mechanisms to enhance financial visibility and operational discipline.
– Facilitate cross-functional collaborations with Finance, Operations, Product, Commercial, and Strategy teams to improve business outcomes.
– Serve as the regional expert for FinOps and profitability optimization in SSL markets.
– Support the prioritization and execution of strategic initiatives focused on customer experience and operational efficiency.

## Required Skills
– 6-10 years of experience in Strategy, Finance, Operations, Consulting, Business Planning, or related analytical roles.
– Strong understanding of financial statements and P&L management.
– Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel; familiarity with data visualization tools is advantageous.
– Fluency in English and Spanish.
– Proven ability to lead projects and influence stakeholders across multiple functions.
– Strong skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and business case development.
– Capability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize effectively while driving initiatives to completion.
– Strong communication skills to present recommendations to senior leadership based on data analysis.
