# Business Operations Budget Manager

## About the Role
We are looking for a Business Operations Budget Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and management of budgets within the Global Operations organization. This role is essential for partnering with functional leaders, program owners, and finance to establish a predictable planning cadence, enforce spending controls, and provide decision support through clear reporting and actionable insights.

## Key Responsibilities
– Manage annual and quarterly planning, monthly forecasting, and business reviews, driving stakeholder accountability through agendas, decision logs, and actions.
– Oversee end-to-end budget management (primarily non-labor OPEX), including baseline, reforecasts, reallocations, approvals, and spend controls in line with business priorities.
– Lead forecasting and variance management, identifying risks and opportunities early while coordinating mitigation plans across teams.
– Develop business metrics (KPIs) and create dashboards that connect spending, headcount, and outcomes, highlighting necessary decisions and actions.
– Enhance planning processes for scalability, improving data quality and cycle time through automation and streamlined templates.
– Collaborate with functional teams and finance to align on priorities, manage dependencies, and communicate trade-offs effectively.
– Ensure governance and compliance in business planning and financial processes, supporting audit readiness as needed.
– Administer business mechanics (cost centers, accruals, purchasing workflows) with timely reconciliation and clear ownership.

## Required Skills
– Experience in Business Operations, FP&A/operational finance, program management, or a similar role.
– Proven track record managing budgets and forecasts, including variance analysis and executive reporting.
– Strong project management skills, adept at building operating rhythms and managing stakeholder interactions.
– Advanced analytical capabilities with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
– Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership.
– Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP).
– Experience supporting cross-functional organizations and collaborating on business planning and performance management.
– Familiarity with business planning processes (headcount, portfolio planning) and relevant organizational mechanisms.
– Ability to build financial reports and dashboards using BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
– Skill in integrating and analyzing data from multiple sources, including automation of financial analyses.
