## About the Role
The Tech, Data, AI & Ventures Finance Business Partnering team is seeking a Corporate Vice President to support strategic investment planning and Financial Planning & Analysis activities. The role covers monthly results consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and ad hoc analysis.
This position will improve cost visibility and support data-driven decision-making across technology and business functions. The successful candidate will support Apptio applications, data governance, reporting, dashboards, service owners, and cost centers.
The role partners with Finance, business, technology, Accounting, Strategy, Operations, and HR stakeholders. It requires strong analytical and communication skills, independent judgment, and the ability to contribute effectively in cross-functional teams.
## Key Responsibilities
– Build strategic relationships with Finance and business stakeholders.
– Lead or support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly financial reporting.
– Analyze financial performance and business trends, providing recommendations to improve results.
– Deliver planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes in partnership with business relationship managers and financial contacts.
– Explain key financial drivers through value-added analysis for management audiences.
– Partner with business units to understand operational drivers and align financial and business objectives.
– Prepare executive presentations, including CFO review and leadership materials.
– Maintain and improve financial models, tools, dashboards, and reporting processes.
– Support scenario planning, cost optimization initiatives, and ad hoc financial analysis.
– Build and enhance Apptio or Tableau dashboards covering cost drivers, KPIs, and service consumption.
– Maintain data dictionaries, service catalogs, and IT cost-transparency models supporting the Bill of IT.
– Identify opportunities for automation, process simplification, and improved data governance.
## Required Skills
– Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, information systems, data or business analytics, or a related field.
– 8–12 years of experience in IT financial management, technology business management, FinOps, data analytics, cost accounting, or systems support.
– Hands-on experience with Apptio, including one or more of the Cost Transparency, Planning, or Target Process modules.
– Understanding of IT service costing, cost allocation, and financial modeling.
– Proficiency in Excel, data integration, and financial modeling.
– Familiarity with enterprise systems such as ERP, CMDB, cloud billing, and project tracking tools.
– Experience working with large datasets from sources such as general ledger, HR, cloud, and on-premises IT systems.
– Experience with financial systems such as Anaplan, Oracle, SAP, Workday Adaptive, or similar platforms.
– Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to simplify complex financial information.
– Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

– Familiarity with cost allocations, CapEx and OpEx distinctions, and SaaS or technology business models.

## Compensation
– **Salary:** $119,000–$170,000
– **Overtime status:** Exempt
– **Discretionary bonus eligible:** Yes

– Annual discretionary bonus eligibility and potential participation in an incentive program may also apply.
– Final base salary is determined by factors including experience, skills, qualifications, and job location.
