## About the Role

The Senior IT Financial Analyst will improve the efficiency, transparency, and governance of technology-related financial processes. The role supports FinOps and Technology Business Management (TBM) practices across cloud and technology environments.

Working with technology, finance, and business stakeholders, this position manages budgets, monitors spending, improves cost accountability, and identifies opportunities to reduce waste. The role also supports IT Asset Management and provides guidance on cost optimization and financial governance.

## Key Responsibilities

– Evaluate and improve operational and financial processes related to technology investments.
– Partner with technology, finance, and business teams to manage budgets, monitor spend, and improve cost-center accountability.
– Analyze cloud and technology cost and usage data to identify optimization opportunities.
– Develop and support showback and chargeback models.
– Identify and implement savings initiatives, including rightsizing, license optimization, and decommissioning unused resources.
– Establish financial governance and cost-management practices that support audit readiness.
– Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and track timelines and deliverables.
– Mentor team members on FinOps, TBM, and cost-optimization practices.
– Contribute to IT Asset Management procedures and governance.

## Required Skills

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
– At least five years of IT Asset Management experience, including management of multiple concurrent projects.
– Experience working with business users to establish priorities and manage expectations.
– Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
– Excellent client-service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
– Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with tight delivery schedules.

– Experience optimizing operational and financial processes related to technology investments.
– Experience managing budgets, monitoring spend, and improving accountability across cost centers.

– Background in Technology Business Management.
– Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
– Strong understanding of P&L impact, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting principles.
– Engineering or construction industry experience.
