# About the Role
The IT Strategy & Performance Analyst supports the Office of the CIO as an operational and analytical resource for IT financial planning, cost transparency, and performance management.
Working at the intersection of Finance and Technology, the role contributes to cost allocation, financial reporting, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making. It partners with IT, Finance, market stakeholders, Budget Owners, Local Heads of IT, and Local Finance teams.
The position helps establish consistent IT financial management practices across markets and prepares clear, executive-ready presentations on financial performance, trends, and variances.
## Key Responsibilities
– Support the implementation and maintenance of the IT cost allocation methodology based on a Technology Business Management (TBM) structure.
– Prepare headquarters cost allocations for distribution to markets.
– Coordinate with Budget Owners to maintain consistent allocation frameworks.
– Track the P&L impact of allocations and support fair cost distribution across markets.
– Monitor IT cost structures and improve cost transparency processes.
– Coordinate budget and forecasting cycles with Finance and IT stakeholders.
– Support month-end closing and accrual activities with Controlling.
– Prepare planning templates, coordinate timelines, and organize stakeholder planning sessions.
– Act as the liaison between IT and Finance throughout planning activities.
– Analyse market financial performance, investigate variances, and prepare supporting reports and presentations.
– Identify financial trends and impacts to support future planning cycles.
## Required Skills
– 3–5 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, Performance Management, Finance Business Partnering, or Business Analysis.
– Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
– Strong financial modelling, reporting, and data visualisation skills.
– Ability to analyse incomplete or complex data and translate findings into clear business insights.
– Ability to create structured presentations for senior stakeholders.
– Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven approach.
– Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
– Ability to work effectively in matrix and international environments.
– Comfortable operating in dynamic settings with changing priorities and business requirements.
