# About the Role

VF Corporation is seeking a FinOps Analyst to join its Cloud Governance team. The role focuses on improving financial efficiency, strengthening FinOps policies and standards, and supporting informed business decisions.

You will work with leadership, application owners, and cross-functional teams to analyze financial performance, identify optimization opportunities, and develop controls that improve cost management and transparency. The position also supports budgeting, forecasting, reporting, audits, and internal FinOps education.

## Key Responsibilities

– Analyze financial trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
– Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams on financial strategies and improvements.
– Support budgeting, forecasting, financial performance monitoring, and variance analysis.
– Perform complex cost-benefit analyses and provide recommendations.
– Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards.
– Prepare and present financial reports for application owners and internal teams.
– Help ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal policies.
– Lead financial audits and provide supporting documentation.
– Promote FinOps education, transparency, and understanding across internal teams.

## Required Skills

– At least five years of experience in financial analysis, cloud operations, or a related role.
– Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
– Proficiency with financial modeling and data analysis tools.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
– High attention to detail and accuracy.

## Preferred Skills

– Bachelor’s degree or related background in cloud finance, accounting, or controls.
– Experience with cloud financial management and FinOps principles.
– Professional certifications.

## FinOps Responsibilities

– Identify cloud-related financial trends and cost optimization opportunities.
– Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
– Develop financial models, dashboards, and performance reports.
– Conduct cost-benefit analyses and recommend financial improvements.
– Strengthen FinOps policies, standards, controls, and cost transparency.
– Educate internal teams on FinOps practices and financial visibility.

## Compensation

– Hiring range: **$103,680–$129,600 USD annually**
– Eligible for additional compensation, which may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
– Specific incentive eligibility will be discussed during the recruiting and interview process.
