## About the Role
The Finance Manager will support the Global Technology and Product Organization, with a focus on planning and managing financial performance for cloud and data center hosting. This position exists to help Technology Leadership make informed investment decisions and improve the value of technology spend.
You will work closely with Finance, FinOps, Engineering, and business leaders on forecasting, variance analysis, reporting, resource allocation, ROI analysis, and long-range planning. The role also contributes to process improvement by using Anaplan to strengthen forecasting and financial analysis across stakeholders.
## Key Responsibilities
– Manage financial planning for cloud and data center hosting costs.
– Forecast hosting spend across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
– Analyze month-over-month variances in hosting expenses and explain key drivers.
– Prepare budget-versus-actual reporting for business partners and executive leadership.
– Partner with Finance, FinOps, Engineering, and Technology Leadership on cost optimization and resource allocation.
– Conduct ROI analysis for new initiatives and support long-range financial planning.
– Improve forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis processes using Anaplan.
– Build scenario analyses and provide recommendations to support decision-making.
– Monitor performance against plan and forecast, including headcount and vendor investment assumptions.
– Communicate clearly across stakeholders to support alignment on portfolios, processes, and planning.
## Required Skills
– Experience in FP&A, accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or a similar field.
– Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling.
– Experience with Anaplan or a comparable financial planning tool.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to business partners.
– Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
– Proven ability to challenge established approaches and think strategically.
– Highly motivated self-starter.
## Preferred Skills
– Experience with SaaS and cloud computing business models and financial concepts, including FinOps and cloud cost management.
– MBA.
