## About the Role

Sysmatch is recruiting for an international tech company for a hybrid FinOps and data analysis consultant role based in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area. The position is centered on cloud financial management, with a strong focus on analyzing cloud costs and supporting better financial decision-making.

The role combines cloud operations and finance-related work, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization. It also requires turning complex data into clear, practical outputs that can be used in presentations and other stakeholder communications.

This is a hands-on analytical role for someone who can work across cloud platforms, financial data, and business reporting to support cost control and financial visibility.

## Key Responsibilities

– Analyze cloud cost and financial data to support FinOps activities.
– Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization work.
– Work with cloud operations and financial management topics.
– Review complex datasets and translate findings into actionable outputs.
– Prepare clear messages, deliverables, and presentations based on analysis.
– Support work related to IT asset management and cost accounting.

## Required Skills

– Strong expertise in FinOps, cloud cost management, or cloud financial analysis.
– Experience in cloud operations and/or financial management.
– Knowledge of cloud-based architectures, cloud provider tools, and cloud billing structures.
– Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
– Experience in IT asset management or cost accounting.
– Strong financial and analytical skills.
– Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, with extensive Excel expertise.
– Experience with Power BI.
– Experience with IBM Cloudability.
– Background in computer science or finance.
– English level C1.

## Preferred Skills

– Certification from AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or the FinOps Foundation.
