## About the Role
This role supports national and international clients in improving the commercial management and performance of their IT organizations. The focus is on IT financial management, FinOps, and IT value management, with the goal of building clearer financial and steering structures.
You will advise clients on IT transformation topics, including the use of AI and the introduction of modern value-based management models. The work also includes analyzing IT cost and performance structures, validating business cases, and developing strategies, roadmaps, data models, and dashboards to support budget, investment, and return-on-investment decisions.
From the beginning, you will be involved across the full project lifecycle, including proposal work, client acquisition, analysis, tool introduction, implementation, and the development of strategic recommendations. You will work with experienced colleagues and contribute to engagements across industries.
## Key Responsibilities
– Advise German and international clients on the transformation and commercial steering of IT organizations.
– Contribute to IT controlling, FinOps, and IT Value Management engagements.
– Build and improve transparent financial and management structures.
– Analyze IT cost and performance structures and support business case validation.
– Develop IT strategies, roadmaps, data models, and management dashboards.
– Support decision-making on IT budgets, investments, and return on IT investment.
– Contribute to proposals, client acquisition, analysis, tool introduction, implementation, and recommendations.
## Required Skills
– Degree in business informatics, business administration with an IT focus, mathematics, engineering, natural sciences, or a related field.
– Strong analytical and conceptual thinking.

– Very good written and spoken German and English.

## Preferred Skills
– Initial experience in IT, IT controlling, financial management, or IT service management.
– Initial experience with analysis and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

– Knowledge of FinOps / Cloud Financial Management.
– Familiarity with IT service management, portfolio management, or cost management.
