## About the Role
Gartner’s Technology Strategy Consulting team is hiring a Consulting Associate Director to lead client engagements focused on IT infrastructure and technology-enabled business outcomes. The role combines project delivery oversight, client relationship management, and senior advisory work for commercial and government organisations.
This position focuses on infrastructure strategy, transformation, modernization, and cloud/hybrid architecture. It requires someone who can work hands-on, manage multiple priorities, lead teams, and develop practical solutions using Gartner’s frameworks and methodologies.
## Key Responsibilities
– Lead the delivery and oversight of consulting engagements.
– Manage senior client relationships and advise on strategic and tactical technology decisions.
– Lead and motivate teams made up of technical and non-technical professionals.
– Assess networks, servers, and cloud environments against long-term business objectives.
– Contribute to infrastructure strategy, modernization, transformation, and data centre migration programmes.
– Support cloud architecture, hybrid architecture, and data centre topology decisions, including edge-related designs.
– Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code, ITSM, IT Services and Operations, ITIL, DevSecOps, and FinOps.
– Develop solutions, strategies, rapid prototypes, and presentation or sales proposal materials.
– Apply Gartner frameworks and methodologies to client challenges.

– Experience in a well-regarded management consultancy in a project delivery role.
