## About the Role
This fully remote Account Manager position is based in Israel and sits within the AWS Sales team for EMEA. The role is focused on managing existing customer relationships, serving as a reliable point of contact, and identifying opportunities to deepen engagement and support revenue growth.
The account management function is also responsible for customer retention, working closely with cloud vendor teams, and helping ensure customer needs are understood across internal teams. In practice, this means balancing day-to-day customer management with commercial discussions, escalation handling, and ongoing portfolio oversight.
You will work across customers, cloud vendor sales representatives, support teams, and engineering stakeholders to keep accounts healthy, resolve issues, and surface feedback that can help shape product priorities.
## Key Responsibilities
– Build a strong understanding of the company’s cloud management platform, support model, services, and customer needs.
– Own customer context and communications with cloud vendor teams, highlighting growth opportunities where appropriate.
– Manage customer support escalations through to resolution while maintaining high satisfaction levels.
– Negotiate and close long-term commitments with customers and other key stakeholders.
– Identify new workload opportunities within customer cloud environments and SaaS solutions.
– Maintain regular contact across your full customer portfolio, including both strategic accounts and fast-growing clients.
– Collect customer feedback and share it with product and engineering teams.
– Run quarterly business reviews, including project timelines, projected cloud spend, and feedback on support and engagement.
– Identify cost optimization opportunities in customer cloud environments.
– Partner with cloud vendor sales representatives on shared customers.
## Required Skills
– 2+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or Customer Engineering.
– 3+ years of experience at a technology company.
– Experience with AWS, Google Cloud (GCP), or other major public cloud providers.
– Experience in the FinOps ecosystem.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills in Hebrew and English.
– Technical skills that allow productive collaboration with technical teams.
– Ability to build influential working relationships.
– Strong operational and administrative skills.
– Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
– Ability to move between high-level context and detailed execution.
– Desire to grow within the organization and broaden your skill set.
