## About the Role

We are seeking a Cloud FinOps Consultant with strong expertise in cloud billing, commitment management, and cloud economics. This role serves as a trusted advisor to customers, with a focus on helping them make informed decisions about cloud spend and optimization.

The position is suited to someone who has managed cloud commitments and discount strategies in a large enterprise or cloud provider environment. You should be comfortable working with Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, Azure Reservations, and other commitment-based discount programs, along with cloud billing operations.

You will also collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to help scale and improve cloud optimization capabilities.

## Key Responsibilities

– Analyze cloud billing, utilization, and commitment data across AWS, Azure, and GCP
– Advise customers on Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Azure Reservations, Committed Use Discounts, and related discount programs
– Support customer discussions on cloud economics, commitment strategies, and FinOps best practices
– Investigate complex billing, usage, and optimization scenarios
– Build expertise in cloud pricing models, discount programs, and cloud financial operations
– Consult customers on cloud cost strategies and commitment management

## Required Skills

– 3+ years of experience in Cloud FinOps, Cloud Economics, Cloud Billing, Cloud Operations, or Cloud Cost Management
– Hands-on experience managing cloud discount instruments, including Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and Cloud Committed Use Discounts
– Strong understanding of cloud billing, usage data, commitment management, and financial optimization strategies
– Experience with FinOps tools and cloud cost management platforms
– Excel and/or Google Sheets skills with the ability to analyze large datasets
– Experience supporting enterprise cloud environments and cloud spend optimization initiatives
– Experience in a customer-facing consulting, advisory, solutions, FinOps, cloud operations, or cloud economics role
– Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
