## About the Role
You will lead the team responsible for the AWS platform and help ensure delivery against performance, timeline, and budget commitments. This role combines people leadership with hands-on technical contribution, with a focus on AWS governance, cloud standards, and support for the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE).
You will also contribute to platform design, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and ongoing improvement. In parallel, you will oversee AWS budget management through FinOps practices and support continuous improvement across team processes and working methods.
This position works closely with stakeholders, the director, the technical lead, and other teams to define priorities, plan work, track progress, and resolve issues. It is a hybrid role.
## Key Responsibilities
### Team Leadership
– Coach, motivate, and support team members.
– Set individual and team objectives and define approaches to reach performance goals.
– Review performance, identify development needs, and support ongoing training.
– Take part in recruitment and onboarding.

### Technical Leadership
– Organize and lead CCoE meetings.
– Act as a central point for aligning cloud practices, defining strategy, and promoting standard adoption across the organization.
– Contribute to platform design, build, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement.
– Ensure peer reviews are completed according to company standards.
– Stay current on new technologies, best practices, and market trends.
– Suggest improvements that increase team efficiency and work quality.
– Help build a culture of continuous improvement.
### Project Coordination
– Work with stakeholders to define goals and priorities.
– Estimate workload and plan activities with the director and technical lead.
– Monitor project progress and identify risks.
– Ensure work quality and adherence to established standards and processes.
– Support the team’s contribution to on-time project delivery.
– Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues and improve the customer experience.
## Required Skills
– BAC/AEC in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
– At least 5 years of practical, meaningful experience with AWS services and infrastructure.
– At least 2 years of experience as a Team Lead or in a role with significant direct or indirect leadership influence.
– AWS certification, or at least 2 years of experience as a contributor.
– Experience with Git, Terraform, and Ansible.
– Experience with Google Workspace, Jira, and Confluence.
– Understanding of cloud solution architecture principles.
– Experience managing computer networks.
– Experience managing managed-services infrastructure.
– Experience managing vendors.
– Experience with Agile methods, including Scrum and Kanban, and knowledge of development best practices such as unit testing and continuous integration.
– Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, prioritization, adaptability, resilience, accountability, initiative, and creativity.
– English proficiency is required.
