## About the Role

The Asset Intelligence team supports clients with estate management and software procurement. As Senior FinOps Analyst, you will help customers manage cloud spend through the FinOps framework and support multiple clients through regular reviews.

The role is focused on helping customers get more value from cloud services while strengthening Softcat’s FinOps offering. It combines client advisory, reporting, problem-solving, and service improvement.

You will also help develop the team by mentoring junior colleagues, running 1:1s, and supporting the growth of the next generation of FinOps Analysts.

## Key Responsibilities

– Build trusted advisor relationships with enterprise-scale clients.
– Act as an internal subject matter expert for FinOps.
– Set long-term customer goals and develop strategies to support FinOps adoption.
– Use cloud management tools and native tooling to analyse FinOps data.
– Produce reporting on cost visibility and optimisation for client stakeholders.
– Provide break/fix support for cloud management solutions through ServiceNow.
– Improve FinOps processes and practices, including best-practice adoption and efficiency gains.
– Help develop the service and support team leadership through mentoring and 1:1s.

## Required Skills

– FinOps Practitioner Certification.

## Preferred Skills

– Extensive FinOps knowledge.
– FinOps Certified Engineer certification.
– Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
– AZ900, AWS Certified Practitioner, AZ104, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect certifications.
– Experience with multi-cloud cost optimisation.
– Experience with CloudHealth, Cloudability, Flexera, and native tools.
– Ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders in an enterprise customer environment.
– Ability to solve problems collaboratively and support junior team members.
– Ownership of personal learning and development.
