## About the Role
This Junior FinOps Analyst role supports customers in understanding AWS billing and usage data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and turning cloud consumption data into practical guidance. The position sits within the FinOps team and is focused on helping customers manage cloud costs more effectively.
The role is remote from Lviv. The first month is dedicated to learning the fundamentals, including AWS Practitioner certification, before gradually taking on more customer ownership and FinOps-side responsibility for more complex projects.
## Key Responsibilities
– Review AWS billing and usage data with customers to surface insights and trends.
– Identify cloud cost optimization opportunities and follow up on the impact of changes.
– Use internal and external tools to help customers set budgets, monitor usage, and spot spending anomalies.
– Convert cloud usage data into clear recommendations and simple reports.
– Create and present reports and dashboards that are easy to understand.
– Support onboarding for new customers using Automat-it’s FinOps services.
## FinOps Responsibilities
– Analyze cloud spending, usage patterns, and billing data to improve cost visibility.
– Support budgeting, anomaly detection, and spending trend analysis.
– Recommend cost optimization actions and track their results.
– Contribute to reporting and dashboarding for FinOps customers.

## Preferred Skills
– Experience with AI-powered tools such as AWS Cost Anomaly Detection or AI features in cost management platforms.
– Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, or Big Data.
– Understanding of cloud platforms, especially AWS, and basic architecture concepts.
