# AWS Platform Team Manager

## About the Role
This hybrid role leads the teams responsible for Croesus’s AWS platform, which supports the delivery and ongoing improvement of its wealth management solutions. The position combines people leadership with hands-on technical contribution, with a focus on meeting performance goals, delivery timelines, and budget expectations.

You will work with stakeholders, the director, the technical manager, and other teams to define priorities, plan work, manage risks, and improve the customer experience. The role also contributes directly to the design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution of the platform.

## Key Responsibilities
– Lead, supervise, motivate, and support the AWS platform team.
– Set individual and collective goals, and implement strategies to achieve them.
– Build a positive, collaborative work environment.
– Evaluate team performance and identify training and development needs.
– Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training.
– Ensure clear communication, knowledge sharing, and appropriate team resourcing.
– Contribute to the design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement of the platform.
– Conduct peer reviews according to company standards.
– Monitor new technologies, best practices, and market trends, and suggest improvements.
– Help establish a culture of continuous improvement.
– Work with stakeholders to define objectives and priorities.
– Estimate workloads and plan activities with the director and technical manager.
– Track project progress, identify risks, and support on-time delivery.
– Ensure work quality and compliance with established standards and processes.
– Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues and improve the customer experience.

## Required Skills
– Strong French proficiency; French is the working language, and all internal meetings, including interviews, are conducted in French.
– Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
– At least 5 years of experience in cloud platform management.
– At least 2 years of experience in an influential leadership role, direct or indirect.
– AWS certification, or at least 2 years of experience as a contributor.
– Experience with infrastructure as code using Git, Terraform, and Ansible.
– Proficiency with Google Workspace, Jira, and Confluence.
– Understanding of cloud solution architecture principles.
– Experience in IT network management.
– Experience in managed services infrastructure management.
– Experience in supplier management.
– Experience with Agile methods, including Scrum and Kanban.
– Knowledge of best development practices, including unit testing and continuous integration.
– Leadership, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, prioritization, adaptability, perseverance, courage, accountability, and creativity.

## Preferred Skills
– Experience in the financial sector.
– Related certifications in Linux, FinOps, CCNA, security, or other IT areas.
