# Finance Manager, Global Technology & Product

## About the Role
This role supports Anaplan’s Global Technology and Product Organization and works closely with Technology Leadership to shape financial plans that maximize the value of technology investment. A core focus is managing cloud and data center hosting strategy, including forecasting, variance analysis, and executive reporting.

You will partner with Finance, FinOps, Engineering, and business stakeholders to support investment decisions, resource allocation, and long-range planning. The role also contributes to improving forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis processes using Anaplan.

## Key Responsibilities
– Manage and forecast multi-cloud and data center hosting costs, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
– Perform month-over-month variance analysis on hosting spend and report key financial and operational metrics.
– Prepare budget vs. actuals reporting for business partners and executive leadership.
– Work with FinOps and Engineering teams to identify and execute cost optimization opportunities.
– Support finance and business leaders with resource prioritization, allocation, and investment decisions.
– Evaluate technology investments and recommend opportunities to reallocate or redeploy resources.
– Partner with finance teams on ROI analysis for new initiatives and long-range planning.
– Improve forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis processes using Anaplan.
– Develop scenario analysis and decision support for finance and business leaders.
– Analyze performance against plan and forecast, including trends in headcount and vendor investment.
– Communicate clearly across stakeholders to support end-to-end understanding of portfolios, processes, and planning.

## Required Skills
– Experience in FP&A, accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or a similar field.
– Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling.
– Experience with Anaplan or a similar financial planning tool.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
– Experience presenting to business partners with confidence and credibility.
– Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
– Ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
– Self-motivated and able to challenge the status quo.

## Preferred Skills
– Experience with SaaS or cloud computing business models and related financial concepts, including FinOps and cloud cost management.
– MBA.

## FinOps Responsibilities
– Forecast multi-cloud and data center hosting spend.
– Analyze month-over-month variance in hosting costs.

– Partner with FinOps and Engineering on cost optimization initiatives.
– Support cloud and hosting investment decisions and resource reallocation.
– Improve forecasting and reporting processes for scale.
