Global Technology Finance Business Partner
London | Hybrid (1-2 days per week)
£120,000 – £140,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Apointe are partnering with a global SaaS technology business undergoing significant growth and investment across its Product, Engineering and Technology functions. As part of this journey, we’re looking to appoint a commercially minded finance leader to act as the primary business partner to senior Product, Engineering and Technology stakeholders, helping drive investment decisions, operational performance and long-term value creation
This is a highly visible role with exposure to senior leadership, offering the opportunity to influence how technology investment is prioritised, measured and optimised across a complex global environment
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with Product, Engineering and Technology leadership teams on budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
Support investment decisions through business cases, ROI analysis and scenario modelling
Drive financial insight across R&D, product development and engineering activities
Own reporting and analysis of cloud hosting and infrastructure spend (AWS, Azure and related platforms)
Work closely with Engineering and FinOps teams to improve cost efficiency and unit economics
Develop performance metrics and reporting frameworks to support decision making
Provide commercial challenge and strategic financial insight to senior stakeholders globally
Support continuous improvement across financial planning, reporting and governance processes
About You:
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Significant experience partnering with Technology, Product, Engineering or R&D functions
Strong background within SaaS, software, technology or high-growth digital businesses
Experience managing complex budgets, forecasting processes and investment analysis
Understanding of cloud hosting, infrastructure costs, FinOps or technology cost optimisation
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership teams
Commercially minded, analytical and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
