For our client, we are seeking a Senior Finops Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a healthcare environment.
Location: Remote – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $130,295 – $260,590 annually
Responsibilities
Analyze cloud spend across AWS, Azure, and GCP for cost-saving opportunities
Develop and implement cloud cost management best practices
Collaborate with teams to align cloud usage with business and financial goals
Automate cloud cost reporting and deliver insights to stakeholders
Establish governance policies for cloud usage and spending
Promote financial accountability in engineering and product teams
Support cloud migration projects with attention to financial impact
Qualifications
7+ years managing cloud spend and cost optimization in large-scale environments
5+ years with cloud cost management tools like Cloudability or Apptio One
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields
