About the Role
We’re looking for a senior, hands-on startup sales leader with deep experience selling
cloud infrastructure, FinOps, or cost optimization solutions
into engineering-led organizations.
This is an early opportunity to help shape the go-to-market motion, sales strategy, and product direction of a
Cloud Cost Intelligence platform
focused on uncovering hidden spend across AWS, Kubernetes, and modern cloud stacks.
This is a
commission-only role (20% of first-year revenue)
. If you can consistently close real cloud infrastructure / FinOps deals, the upside is unlimited.
No base salary. Fully remote. Work on your own schedule.
What You’ll Do
Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → discovery → technical validation → close
Sell Cloud Cost Intelligence / FinOps solutions to:
Mid-market and enterprise customers
Cloud-native, Kubernetes, and hybrid environments
Engage with:
Platform / DevOps teams
Engineering leadership
FinOps / Finance stakeholders
Partner closely with the founder and engineering team on:
Technical demos and cost analysis reports
Customer feedback and product direction
Pricing and deal structuring
Build and maintain a qualified pipeline
Drive expansion and renewals for accounts you close
Help define early GTM strategy and sales motion
Requirements
5+ years of B2B enterprise sales in one or more of:
Cloud infrastructure
FinOps / cloud cost optimization
DevOps / platform / observability tools
Proven success selling into technical buyers:
VP Engineering, Head of Platform, DevOps leaders
FinOps / Finance stakeholders
Strong understanding of:
AWS / cloud billing models
Kubernetes / distributed systems (preferred)
Highly self-directed with a founder / operator mindset
Compensation
Commission-only:
up to
20% of first-year revenue per deal
Paid monthly on collected revenue
No cap on earnings (unlimited upside)
