Role Description
We are looking for a FinOps Analyst to help our customers reduce their AWS cloud costs. In this role, you will analyze cloud usage and billing data, review optimization reports, and identify opportunities for cost savings and resource optimization.
You will work closely with customers to explain findings, recommend optimization strategies, and help them improve the financial efficiency of their cloud environments. This is a customer-facing analytical role suited for someone who enjoys working with data, cloud platforms, and helping organizations reduce cloud spend.
Key Responsibilities:
Review AWS usage and billing data
Analyze customer cloud usage trends and spending patterns
Prepare cost optimization reports and recommendations
Present findings and recommendations to customers
Support customers in understanding AWS pricing models and cost drivers
Monitor savings opportunities over time and track optimization impact
Work with internal teams to improve optimization methodologies and reporting
Stay up to date with AWS pricing updates and FinOps best practices
Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
Required Qualifications:
Basic understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture
Familiarity with AWS billing and cost management concepts
Analytical mindset and ability to work with data
Strong communication skills for customer interactions
Ability to explain technical and financial insights clearly
Comfortable working with dashboards, reports, and spreadsheets
Nice to Have:
Basic understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture
Familiarity with Reserved Instances and Savings Plans
Knowledge of FinOps practices
Basic SQL or data analysis skills
AWS certification (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner)
