As part of continued growth in their AI and data practice, they are looking for a Senior Google Cloud AI Consultant with strong expertise across GCP and Vertex AI to help design and deliver intelligent, scalable platforms for enterprise clients.
The Role
As a Senior Google Cloud AI Consultant, you will work closely with client stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to design and deliver AI and data solutions on Google Cloud. You will operate in a client-facing consulting role, combining technical architecture, hands-on implementation, and strategic advisory to help organisations adopt AI and machine learning capabilities at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver AI and machine learning solutions using Google Cloud and Vertex AI
Architect scalable cloud-native platforms supporting AI, data, and analytics workloads
Work with clients to define AI and data strategies aligned to business outcomes
Design and implement modern data platforms including data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time pipelines
Build and deploy ML models and AI services using Vertex AI and the wider GCP ecosystem
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform to enable automated and scalable environments
Support cloud migrations and platform modernisation initiatives
Embed security, governance, and FinOps best practices into solution design
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Skills & Experience
Essential
Strong experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in a solution design or consulting capacity
Hands-on experience with Vertex AI and AI/ML workloads
Experience designing and delivering cloud-native architectures
Experience with data platforms, analytics environments, or machine learning pipelines
Strong knowledge of GCP services such as GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage
Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar)
Strong stakeholder communication and client-facing consulting skills
Desirable
Experience delivering AI transformation or advanced data platform programmes
Experience working within consulting or professional services environments
Exposure to Generative AI or LLM-based applications
Google Cloud certifications such as: Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Machine Learning Engineer, Professional Data Engineer
